Eastholme is a Victorian house, which we believe used to be a maternity home. Whilst it has retained a lot of its original features, the home has had a full refurbishment, which has brought the facilities on offer up to a high standard.
It is situated on the south side of the city, facing the south common, and enjoys wonderful views across this open space. The home has a large parking area of its own, and there are several parking spaces situated on the road outside the home.
The home is currently registered to provide accommodation and care to a maximum of 21 people of either gender, and is also able to accept up to 4 residents who are assessed within the Young Physically Disabled (YPD) category, provided that they are over 55.
We offer short and long stay care and respite care which is dependent on available beds.
Work on the extensions is now well underway, and is expecetd to be completed by the end of November. This will increase the number of beds in the home to 30, and will provide an additional lounge, and imp[roved kitchen and dining facilities.
